Cheryl A. Jackson, Partner
Cheryl has nearly a decade of experience and supports the firm’s diverse commercial litigation and insurance defense dockets, including representation of individuals and businesses in cases involving medical malpractice, negligence, construction disputes, workers compensation subrogation claims, and general commercial matters. Cheryl also participates in the firm’s employment law practice, including responsibility for preparing and reviewing clients’ employee handbooks, advising and defending clients in wrongful termination and retaliatory discharge claims, appealing unemployment claims, defending claims filed with the EEOC, and drafting and negotiating employment and independent contractor agreements. Cheryl has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star since 2015.
In her spare time, Cheryl enjoys running, cycling, camping, hiking, roller coasters, sky-diving, and rock-climbing, rappelling, and bouldering. She is a die-hard enthusiast of football and lacrosse, and beaches are her “happy place.”
Cheryl earned her undergraduate degree at Northeastern State University and her law degree at the University of Tulsa. She is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association (and active on its Women in Law Committee) and has been admitted to practice before the U.S District Court of Oklahoma (Eastern, Western, and Northern districts).
